Too close to call in Knockout final

With Mark Boyle starting 2025 as Tour No.1, it is perhaps fitting that he faces the new Tour No.1, Shaun Carey, in a final that could go either way.

While Carey showed fine form earlier in the season and has started favourite for the last two Majors, he remains without a victory and doubts might be growing after a poor final round in the VCD Open.

​

The opposite is true of Mark Boyle, who was not at his best in Portugal, but has produced two fine performances in the ABT Sarazen Classic and VCD Open.

​

One thing is for sure, with neither golfer having previously won the Knockout, a new name will be on the trophy. May the nest man win.
