Haley regains No.1 ranking, but Dine looms large

Points are accumulated over a two year “rolling” period, with points accumulated in the most recent year counting double. Each player is then ranked according to his average points per tournament.

This is determined by dividing his total number of points (double “recent“ year’s points, plus “previous” year’s points) by the number of tournaments played over the two year period. There is a minimum requirement of three tournaments per “rolling” year.

There is therefore a minimum two year divisor of six. i.e. If a golfer played four tournaments in the “recent” year and one in the “previous” year, the divisor would be seven, being four plus (a minimum of) three.
